Members will be required to make timed same-day reservations in-person at any Member desk. How many tickets do I need to get into The Met? One ticket per person is needed for admission to the Museum. You can either buy a General Admission ticket or make a reservation for entry prior to your visit. Do met members have to make reservations? No advance registration or timed tickets are required. Accepted forms of residency verification include New York State driver's license, New York State identification card, IDNYC, current bill or statement with a New York State address, student ID, and New York library card.
